Google has banned advertising related to crypto-initial coin offerings (ICO) since June 2018, but the company's new policies will allow regulated crypto-companies to market their services. The new Directive will allow advertisers offering cryptocurrencies, wallets and services to market their products freely. However, ICOs will continue to be sidelined. Google returned to crypto advertising after its new policy comes into force on August 3.
